Like fireflies, we all have a light within us. If we care to look, if we care to find.

Chasing Fireflies is a creative writing program designed to help children see that light inside them and to fire up their imagination. So join us as we imagine, think, share, create, write and chase the light within.

Note: The workshop is meant for every child who desires and deserves to express his/her self.

Curriculum Details:

Day 1: Opening Eyes, Ears and Heart: Observation Skills
Day 2: Meaningful and Meaningless: Exploring Language
Day 3: The Imaginary and the Real: Generating Ideas
Day 4: With or Without Rhyming: Creating Poems
Day 5: To Self and to Others: Writing Letters

The culmination of the Program: On the last day we will have-
• A parenting session
• A presentation of their learning and work by children
• Certificates to all participants

About the Facilitator-
Manmeet Narang is a facilitator and a writer. Her entire work with children, parents and teachers revolves around making them think, reflect and discover themselves. Her other passion is to dig into the imaginative world of children and weave stories for them. Her published work includes ‘The Amazing World of Animals’, ‘Magical World of Benny Buzo’, ‘365 Amazing Facts’ and ‘Jiggly Wiggly’ rhymes. She forayed into adult fiction with her short story in the anthology ‘The Other’ published by StoryMirror. Her articles appear on DailyO, The Better India and Women’s Web.

When she is not training or writing, she is either reading, listening to music, walking in nature, exploring places or playing with her children.
