Babbling Birds

Why do you peck at thy windows 

Why peck at your own image

Waging war on other birds like you

It is just a mirage 

For you drive me crazy

And in the morning make me lazy

I am unable to sleep 

With your continuous  rikicheep 

People think you are cute and small

But your screeches are heard through a soundproof wall

You annoy me out of all

With your never ending call

I block you with a shawl 

I can hear you in the mall

I cannot lie down

When I hear your pecking sound
